Easels

If anyone has an easel (or two) that they would like to bring then please do.

Another gem of a venue confirmed - the masonic room at The Palace, Garden Street.

After several discussions, I can't believe that we can now confirm this as our main exhibition space. It's a Masonic room (unfortunately, the main hall was unavailable!), but this is like a little replica of the giant one.
Those who already know me, know that I champion art in unusual spaces - and you can't get any more unusual than this - totally unique, dramatic, intriguing, but also charming.

Drop off details to follow shortly…

One of our Exhibition venues...

Just confirmed one of our exhibition venues - Mooch 1
13-15 Garden Street, St. Anne's, FY8 2AA - open Mon-Sat 9.30am - 4.30pm
(opposite the old J R Taylors)

Curatorially speaking, it is a lovely, bright, modern space - with various options for displaying including some shelves for small pieces of art, window area and a bijou room towards the back to continue the exhibition.
And it has a cafe….

Basic Poster

Basic posters are being displayed around the area.  As venues have so many rules and regulations about displaying, the posters are intentionally simplistic and without dates, in the hope that they will stay up for longer than usual (but will get updated nearer the time). The intention is to get as many artists as possible involved, catching not just the usual keen observers and spotters of exhibition opportunities, but also those who wouldn't normally exhibit. We want all kinds of art forms from all kinds of artists -  this could be your 1st exhibition, or your 100th - the more artists involved, the better the atmosphere, making it another successful local Community Art Event.

Also, if anyone would like to help with invigilating an exhibition space, then please let me know - it is a great opportunity to talk to visitors and other artists about art.
